I use my smartphone headset as my computer microphone, which has a built-in audio chip with a USB-C type connector, But microphone volume is very low in Windows
I tried to use the windows microphone boost,
But the microphone boost option is missing in my computer, I found a software that can get me out of this problem,
it's Equalizer APO, It's easy to use and it's new and can work in windows 11, and more it's open source~
Setup Equalizer APO
This is my setting
first is the config file, i add a Microphone setting file into it.
The second is the mic settings file I added, I set up my mic device and added two preamps to make my mic louder and the sound changed instantly in real time. The setting is permanently changed after saving, which means you don't need to reset it every time you restart your computer.
